Hike in  Mata-Cajuajo area

Starting from your accommodations at 8:30 you will enjoy in a first part of  moving through the city to come out of it, where you will observe beautiful campestral landscapes, arriving that way to the nice girl's hill, a natural Lookout  where you will enjoy an amazing view of Baracoa's most emblematic mountains. It is located about 12 km to the southeast of Baracoa city in the mountains of this area having 171 m obove the sea level and the trail has 9 km of long and duration of 6 hours. At the beginning you will have a nice view of Valle de Jamal, principal cocoa´s production area, which is one of the most important for the economy of Baracoa. You will observe different species of a wild Flora and Fauna such as: the multicolor Polymitas, lots of kind of reptiles and birds, some of them are endemic. During the walk you will learn about the rural baracoa´s farmers culture also to enjoy of the variates typical dishes made by locals. Later on you will recreate with a refresing and healthy swimming time in Cajuajo Beach, place with clear water and white sand. So at the end you will visit Mata Bay, place  where bananas were exported during the second half of XIX and the first half of XX century.
