Starting from your accommodations  at 8:30 am, you  will enjoy  the local history while you are walking, then you will have a boat trip to cross the honey river and you will know the story of the name of that river. Up to the park you will appreciate the great archeological values and the indigenous traditions left. On the third terrace a panoramic view of the Majayara park and Baracoa city is possible, with its beautiful Miel inlet, you also can enjoy of the small but cozy Playa Blanca with interesting  historical and natural values and opportunities for snorkeling.IT is here that the celebrations for the Feast of Tainos Traditions take place every year from August 10.The aboriginal descendants  bring their different traditional dishes such as cassava, buñuelo, tulanga and frangollo,as well as Taino songs and dances with musical groups. The place you are going to visit is a protected area considered one of the most significant regions for the Cuban Archeology. Yara – Majayara has a group of underground galleries of great speleological values. More than 500 petroglyphs have been found in its caves. There are also aboriginal drainage channels for water supply, as well as other traces of the time. The area is reach in flora and fauna, with endangered species and others not found in the country. Also you will have the opportunity to have a swimming time in a natural swimming pool in a cave.
